The Sun has JUST entered the sign of Virgo, can you feel it? Actually, Virgo is a sign more focused on THINKING than on FEELING so I guess I should be asking, do you notice a change in your thinking?

If you don’t, don’t worry even a little. It’s super-early days, er, day, actually, so it might take a few days to notice but the Energy of the Sun in the Sign of Virgo gives us all a bit of a push toward thinking about and taking care of the DETAILS, ANALying to the point of being anal, and, if we get too attached to wanting to fully understand or know a particular answer or outcome before it is time for it to be revealed, Virgo analysis can morph into Virgo WORRY!

I was once on one of our New Age Magazine Inner Voyage cruises, which were so much fun I can't even begin to tell you, and I was on a panel with astrologer Susan Miller and when I brought up the fact that Virgo's analysis can morph into Virgo worry, she interrupted me to say that Virgos don't worry. I was speechless.

That's like saying that Aquarians aren't eccentric in some way or Aries aren’t bossy, Taureans don’t like money, Geminis like to be bored, Capricorns love it when people make fun of them, Leos aren’t interested in what other people think of them, Pisces aren’t overly sensitive, Libras have an easy time making decisions, Scorpios are not intense, Cancers don’t care, and Sagittarians are not blunt. I mention this because...well, I'm not really sure. Maybe I'm worried or analyzing this event, which I have never really understood for a lot of reasons.

And maybe I'm doing yet another thing for which Virgo is famous, not seeing the forest for the trees. I'm focused on the minutiae of an event that happened more than a dozen years ago while you're sitting there wanting to know what's in it for you, in Virgo, I mean. I guess I'm illustrating how the energy now can make us focus on the little things and ignore the big things.

OK, back to you. The Sun's entrance into the sign of Virgo means that in two days it will be on the third degree of Virgo and that will complete an EXACT Grand Trine between the Sun in Virgo, Saturn in its home sign of Capricorn, and Uranus in its least favorite sign, Taurus. I’m not saying that this will be an amazingly good time for everyone, but it is going to be notable in some practical way for everyone. Ah, what the hell. It’s going to be an amazing time for just about everyone in some way is what I hope, hope, hope. It’s EXACT! Should be interesting, at the very least.

Virgo, Capricorn and Taurus are astrology's three "Earth" signs, and earth signs are all about things of the earth, practical matters, things you can touch, your property, your money (especially if its in gold and silver!) The Sun's been in it's own home sign of Leo, a fire sign, and it's been fun in the Sun time in the northern hemisphere, or should I say everyone attempting to have fun despite the wild weather, fires, and all the rest of the craziness that's been going on with six planets including Mercury in retrograde motion mode. It hasn't been the typical Sun in Leo, that's for sure.

Virgo is all about being skilled, using one's hands to craft something, to organize on every level possible, to categorize, to analyze and otherwise break down into its component parts just about everything that you come into contact with. So if you find yourself a little more concerned (is that OK Susan?) about little things than you usually are, you are just feeling the Virgo Love from the Sun.

And it will get even more intense when Mercury, which is direct now, comes roaring out of Leo into Virgo on September 7th, though it will be plenty Virgoish energy time until then, so don't worry!
